A Mixed Bag of Experiences
broken lift unwashed cups
The broken lift was a charming start to my stay! I also spotted some sad, broken chipboard cupboards along the corridor. A real aesthetic treat. The room service was lacking. My coffee cups weren't washed during the first service, and the room wasn't serviced at all on the second morning, just fantastic.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC Stay!
beautiful fireplace fine view tidy room comfortable bed
The fireplace in the entrance was beautifully lit and offered SUCH warm welcome. Views from the location were fine. Our room was tidy and very clean. I experienced a peaceful stay and a great night's sleep because the bed and pillows were comfortable. I ALSO loved the consistent, cute, and pleasant attitude of the staff.
I found just ONE cobweb on the wall, needing some attention. Nothing major, but still noticeable.

Staff members were VERY helpful and accommodating. Breakfast offered a decent range of choices. The bar staff WAS lovely. ALL of them showed dedication to customer satisfaction .

good range spacious room personal taste
The breakfast offered good range of choices. Eggs were cooked to my personal taste. The location was gorgeous and fairly busy with people. The room was spacious.
More dusting would be appreciated in the room.

wonderful vintage stay!
early check-in helpful staff classic style
i loved that i could check in around the clock! the staff was so helpful and had the biggest smiles. they even let me check in early, way before the regular time, an amazing experience in such a classic, vintage place that was built way back in 1846!

The dinner and breakfast package impressed me. There were plenty of options, like a full english, cereals, and fruit. Dinner had amazing presentation and tasted really good, giving many appealing options to choose from.

The staff helped a lot and understood all my needs. I found everyone consistent, super cute, and so pleasant. I really felt they cared about my stay and worked hard to make it nice.

The location is perfect, giving easy access to the village. It is only down the road from there. Amazing scenery is just a short drive away, perfect for exploring and enjoying the natural beauty.

My room, a suite, was clean and tidy and felt peaceful. The bed and pillows were so lush and comfortable, and i had a great night's sleep. The temperature in the room was also very nice and warm.
